🍩 German Berliner Jam Doughnut Recipe

Ingredients:
– 500g flour
– 250ml warm milk
– 7g instant yeast
– 60g sugar
– 2 eggs
– 60g softened butter
– 1 teaspoon vanilla
– Pinch of salt
– Strawberry jam (for filling)
– Oil for frying
– Powdered sugar (for dusting)

Preparation Method:

1. Mix the warm milk with the yeast and a little sugar; let the mixture sit for 10 minutes.
2. Add the eggs, sugar, vanilla, flour, and salt, then knead well.
3. Add the butter and knead until you obtain a smooth, soft dough.
4. Cover the dough and let it rise for one hour, or until doubled in size.
5. Roll out the dough and cut it into circles, then let them rise a second time for 30–45 minutes.
6. Fry the doughnuts in medium-hot oil until golden brown on both sides.
7. Once slightly cooled, fill them with strawberry jam using a piping bag.
8. Dust with powdered sugar and serve with coffee or tea.

Tip for Success: Maintain the oil temperature between 160°C and 170°C to ensure the doughnuts are golden on the outside and soft on the inside.

Enjoy! ❤️🍓
